Harm Reduction Conference

The This conference will raise awareness of HIV, substance use and the harm reduction model by supporting learning, collaboration and creativity. Participants will explore ways to implement harm reduction programs in their communities through panel discussions by peer advocates, workshops lead by local community groups and presentations by medical doctors, policy analysts and other professionals who incorporate harm reduction principles in their work. The conference will be a forum for social service workers, substance users, health professionals, peer advocates and many others to come together to strengthen their partnerships through dialogue and collaboration.
