Springtide Resources invites you to attend an evening of holistic healing, support and building copying strategies for those in the Disability and Deaf communities who have experienced grief through death.
Hosted by: Lamia Gibson: parent, acupuncturist, and fellow griever and Lucy Costa Nyman: parent, advocate, and fellow griever
“How do I keep living after experiencing loss?”
“How do people keep going with all this grief, all this sadness?”
“How do I integrate my disability, Deafness, and loss?”
We are offering a one-night workshop to members of Deaf and disability communities, including participants, clients, service providers, educators, community organizers, and all other members.
What you can expect:
- Sharing of a meal
- Share our experiences, discover tools we already have, learn new skills to cope with grief while in a supportive environment.
- Gently integrate a holistic approach which will include acupuncture (with or without needles) or a quiet reflection time. Both are optional.
Cost: $40 (if cost is a barrier please contact us)
ASL, attendant care, and all other accommodations provided upon reasonable request
