Presenter: Sara Han, BSc. RRT, CRE, works as the Primary Care Asthma Program (PCAP) provincial coordinator at The Lung Association - Ontario, where she plays a role in implementing an evidence-based asthma program supporting best practice standards throughout primary care in Ontario.

  • Clarify and state the role of spirometry as an objective measurement of lung disease
  • Review spirometry testing, terms and measurements
  • Gain confidence in the interpretation of spirometry through case study practice

Presenter:  Dr. Allan Coates, MDCM, B.Eng., was a Pediatric Respirologist as well as the Medical Director of the Pulmonary Function Lab, Division of Respiratory Medicine, at the Hospital for Sick Children for many years. He is now Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto and Senior Scientist Emeritus in the Research Institute.
