THCU's Winter 2004 Workshop

Making the Case

Larry Hershfield and Brian Hyndman of THCU and Guests To Be Announced

This workshop provides an overview of strategies for accessing, interpreting and presenting information on the effectiveness of health promotion. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to select the most pertinent evidence to support their health promotion issue/priority and develop a strategy for presenting this information to decision makers and key influences (e.g., the media). Special guests will share their practical experiences and insights.

Who Should Attend? This workshop is for individuals who develop, prepare and/or present "the case," both for health promotion in general and for specific approaches, to managers, politicians, the media and other decision-makers.

This workshop is free of charge for Ontario residents and will be held at Oakham House, 63 Gould Street, in downtown Toronto.
