Issues in Women's Health: Biology and Beyond

The Centre for Research in Women's Health

790 Bay Street, 7th Floor

This day-long conference brings together researchers-in-training from across the University of Toronto to exchange research findings, innovative methodologies and theoretical insights about women's health. Posters and paper presentations will span the spectrum of women's health, including issues related to women's life course, care-giving, media messaging, health policy, genetics, pharmacology and so on. Last year we had presenters from a range of disciplines including Community and Family Medicine, Public Health Sciences, Pharmacology, Law, Nursing, the Institute for Medical Science, Adult Education (OISE), Physical Education and Health, Social Work, Nutritional Sciences and English and Sociology/Equity Studies (OISE). Our goal is to challenge the traditional gap among varying research perspectives and to offer a forum that encourages engaging, inter-disciplinary dialogue amongst diverse researchers.

Everyone is welcome. The event is free. Refreshments will be served.
