Workplace Wellness Workshops

The Centre for Families, Work & Well-Being at the University of Guelph, in partnership with the Office of Open Learning, is running two full-day Thursday workshops on workplace wellness.

The workshops are designed to meet the needs of workplace-wellness specialists, such as human resources managers, private-sector wellness practitioners, occupational health and safety personnel, nutritionists, community-health workers, researchers and others with an interest in worklife initiatives.

The first session, entitled Introduction to Workplace Wellness, will be held on May 22; the second, entitled Social Support in the Workplace, will be held on June 26. Both workshops will be held at the Delta Meadowvale Resort and Conference Centre in Mississauga, with lunch and a comprehensive resource binder included in the fee.

Each interactive session features four speakers who have extensive experience in researching, developing, delivering and/or evaluating organizational health and wellness programs.
