Symposium Objectives

* To promote interdisciplinary discussion about active health

* To share knowledge about girls, activity and health from behavioural, social-cultural and biophysical sciences

* To foster interdisciplinary research and community interventions

* To build multi-sectoral alliances to enhance research, policy and programme development that will improve the active healthy lifestyles of girls and youth



Who Should Attend

Anyone with an interest in fostering active living, health and impacting the lives of girls, including researchers, coaches, recreation and fitness leaders, medical and community health professions, youth workers, parents and educators.
