Creating Successful Groups for Fathers Forum: Winter 2002

The Parenting Alliance is holding a forum to bring together fathers, community service providers and researchers in an innovative learning collaboration. Last year, folks came together and shared experiences, took a look at the research literature, and discussed how parenting group programs for fathers can make a difference in healthy child development and men's well-being Join this ongoing exploration and discovery! All are welcome!

* Discuss factors, identified at last year's forum, that influence fathers' positive parenting

* Examine up-to-date research about fathering behaviours -- their impact on child development and fathers' well-being

* Participate in small group discussions

* Share insights about supporting positive fathering behaviours
