Upwind Downwind: a Practical Conference on Improving Air Quality

The City of Hamilton will be hosting the 2nd biennial Upwind Downwind Conference that will focus on transboundary air pollution and health related issues that drive public policies and local planning practices, as well as local emission reduction strategies. Hear about human health perspectives with a focus on recent research and strategies to identify and evaluate information about health and environmental effects, sources of pollutants and projections of future trends in emissions. Also, hear what other concerned parties from across the continent are doing to improve air quality in the areas of planning, architecture, energy management and transportation.
