African and Caribbean Council on HIV/AIDS in Ontario Launch

9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

OISE Auditorium, 252 Bloor Street West (at St. George Subway)

The African and Caribbean Council on HIV/AIDS in Ontario (ACCHO) invites you to a public event to launch a community-based strategy to address HIV/AIDS affecting African and Caribbean peoples in Ontario. The purpose of the event is to mobilize African and Caribbean communities, organizations, and all levels of governments around the strategy to address issues related to HIV/AIDS faced by people in Ontario from countries where HIV is endemic and to discuss how our communities and their organizations can take ownership of the strategy.

This is a free event. Lunch will be provided and childcare assistance and TTC tokens are available to people who need them on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information or to register, please contact Rose-Ann Bailey at (416) 340-8484 x233 or [email protected].
