A Nation for all Ages? A Participatory Study of Canadian Seniors' Quality of Life in Seven Municipalities

November 2002, York University, Centre for Health Studies and School of Health Policy and Management.

From the Forward: "The projects described in this report are examples of research in the service of people. In contrast to much academic research that aims to test theories of one sort or another, this research was focussed on improving the quality of life of Canadian seniors. To do so it was necessary to draw upon new research paradigms that take into account the perspectives and views of seniors themselves. Part of this involved providing control of the research process to those in whose service the work was carried out: Seniors."
