 From the website: "The countrywide integrated noncommunicable diseases intervention (CINDI) programme works to improve health and the quality of life in communities by reducing premature death, disease and disability from major noncommunicable diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, cancer, chronic respiratory diseases, accidents, diabetes and mental disorders....CINDI provides participating countries with an integrated approach to activities to prevent and control risk factors (such as smoking, high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, obesity and excessive alcohol consumption) and to address their social and environmental determinants."
