Community Dietitian - (3 days/week)


As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, the Community Dietitian assesses and counsels individuals regarding their nutritional needs, and participates in nutrition-related initiatives in the community.



The successful applicant will have:

- excellent clinical skills in assessment, counselling, education and treatment;

- extensive knowledge of and proficiency in nutrition care;

- understanding of the role of nutrition and food access as a determinant of health;

- demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with community partners and experience in the development of health policy as it relates to nutrition;

- demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team;

- university degree in food and nutrition from a recognized university;

- completion of an accredited Dietitian Internship, an asset;

- membership with the College of Dietitians of Ontario;

- excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills, including computer literacy;

- ability to work flexible hours;

- ability to speak Spanish or an East African language, an asset.
