Temporary, 1-year contract

The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC), Public Health Branch, seeks a Senior Program Consultant, Public Health Education. You will provide professional leadership, direction and public health expertise for the planning/evaluation and effective delivery of the reproductive health program and other mandatory programs, preventive services and expertise in health promotion to boards of health, MOHLTC and other ministries/government agencies and external clients.

Location: 5700 Yonge Street, Toronto

Qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in community/public health population-based health promotion education/promotion normally acquired through a Master's degree in health education/promotion or health/social sciences from a recognized university. Demonstrated knowledge of mandatory programs particularly reproductive health program, leadership skills; excellent project management skills to coordinate, plan/execute activities; highly developed policy planning/analytical/evaluation and problem-solving skills; excellent communication skills.
