Become a member of the team that has received international accolades on its innovative programs. We're the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation, and we are pushing forward to create a strong Canadian healthcare system guided by solid, research-based management and policy decisions!
Recent exciting developments include
* February 18, 2003-- The 2003 federal budget commits $25 million over ten years for CHSRF and its partners to initiate a program that trains health-system executives how to acquire, adapt, appraise and apply research--called the Executive Training for Research Application (EXTRA) program
* January 31, 2003--Open Grants Competition: CHSRF continues to attract an impressive co-sponsorship commitment from partners interested in helping fund health services research...the panel reviewing research applications includes an array of high-profile decision makers and researchers
* December 11, 2002--CHSRF holds its first workshop to help decision makers in the health services field understand the research behind the Romanow Commission recommendations
Our focus is on the people who run the health system, as well as health services researchers. We help them get involved in research that makes a difference; help them produce, find and apply new knowledge to improve management and policy decisions; and bring the two groups together to influence each other's work and share ideas and experiences.
We would like to hear from you if you are a bilingual self-starter who is focused on getting results, ideally with a graduate degree and related experience; are excited by the idea of being responsible for the initiation, development and implementation of new strategies and programming with health-system decision-making and research communities; have the ability to interpret and synthesize complex information; and have the proven ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships and networks.
If you have these attributes, we would like to consider you for future senior and junior program officer opportunities at the foundation. We are looking to immediately hire three staff in the areas of nursing, research use and evaluation. Learn more about our programs by visiting our website at http://www.chsrf.ca.
We offer a competitive compensation package based on skills and experience.
