The successful candidate for this position will be a compelling leader with energy, innovation, strong interpersonal skills and political savvy. Competencies will include

* professional qualification in Health, Social Work or Business Management

* ability to network and act as a coalition builder

* critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills

* ability to create a new organization from the bottom up



Preferred skills

* experience in both the mental-health system and support services for developmentally challenged children

* accomplishments in a senior administrative role

* communication skills, ideally in both English and French



Position Description

* Manages a team of intake workers providing central access to the districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin

* Collaborates with member agencies to plan and manage the development and implementation of all Making Services Work for People system functions
