If you have a commitment to health promotion and illness prevention, combined with excellent communication and leadership skills, you will see this position as an exciting opportunity to develop and implement family health programs that address community needs. The position provides leadership within the Healthy Babies, Healthy Children program, a prevention and early- intervention initiative for families and children up to age six. To qualify for this position, you will have experience in program management and evaluation and in working with marginalized client populations and community coalitions, current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses, a BScN, a Master's degree in Health or a related field and five or more years of nursing experience. The ability to communicate in French or other languages would be considered an asset, as would previous public-health experience.
