Public Health Nurses, Communicable Disease and Sexual Health Promotion, Middlesex-London Health Unit

Newly funded, full-time positions are available for nurses wishing to join multidisciplinary teams responsible for control of infectious diseases, outbreak management and communicable disease surveillance. The successful candidates will receive training on three teams within the Health Unit: Infectious Disease Control, Vaccine Preventable Disease and Sexual Health. These positions are funded to March 31, 2004, with possibility of permanent funding becoming available thereafter. Requires B.Sc.N. with current C.N.O. registration. No previous experience in the communicable disease area is required. Good computer skills would be an asset. The ability to communicate in French or other languages would be considered an asset.
