Building Awareness of Safe Use of Medicines Among Family
Caregivers of Seniors and Chronically Ill Children, Canadian
Association for Community Care/Canadian Pharmacists
Association/Victorian Order of Nurses

The
Canadian Association for Community Care (CACC), in partnership with the
Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) and Victorian Order of Nurses
for Canada (VON), has been awarded a three-year project by Health
Canada to provide education on the safe use of medicines, in both
official languages, to family caregivers of seniors across Canada. A
second aspect of the project examines the needs of family caregivers of
chronically ill children for education on medication use in the home.

To
implement the project, a range of consultant services will be
contracted. At this time, CACC is requesting proposals for the
following: Project Manager, Researcher, and Evaluator. Requests for
proposals are available for downloading at http://www.cacc-acssc.com/english/newsroom/links.cfm.

Please note the deadline for proposals is September 19, 2005.
