Public Health in a Borderless World: A Public Forum

7:30-9:30 p.m.
Congress Hall CDGH, Ottawa Congress Centre, 11 Colonel By Drive

Whether
we speak of SARS or poverty or the global sale of tobacco, today we
live in a borderless world. All of us--both as individuals and
nations¬--have a part to play in improving the health of the public, in
Canada and in the global arena. This exciting public forum will explore
this theme through the use of an interactive panel discussion, the
voices of the renowned African Children¹s Choir and the presentation of
the first CPHA National Public Health Hero Award.

Please join us for this unique event! Admission is free and there will be simultaneous translation.

Speakers/Panel:
The Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister Of State (Public Health); Dr.
James Orbinski, Research Scientist and Associate Professor, Department
