Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, Brock University

The
Department of Sociology at Brock University invites applications for a
probationary (tenure-track) position at the rank of Assistant
Professor, effective July 1, 2006, subject to final budgetary approval.
The successful candidate will have a recently completed PhD in
Sociology, or a related discipline, evidence of successful
undergraduate teaching, and a demonstrated expertise in quantitative
methods. The successful candidate will be expected to teach
quantitative methods and will have the ability to support our
undergraduate program as well as graduate courses in social justice and
equity studies. Other activities will include developing an independent
research program and involvement in the academic community.
