For service providers who work with pregnant women
This forum will focus on the situations of pregnant women whose complex
concerns may include addiction, poverty, violence, mental health,
access to services and fear of judgement or discrimination. On the
evening of March 9, a panel of experts will explore and discuss policy
issues related to the prevention of FASD. On March 10, plenary sessions
and concurrent workshops will highlight the root causes of alcohol use
in pregnancy as well as strategies to care for women who struggle with
alcohol use in pregnancy.
