"The Intensity of Physical Activity within a Physical Education Setting: How active are the participants?"

In this seminar, Allan Fein will present the preliminary results from a
pilot study examining the intensity of physical activity in Toronto
area grade 9 physical education classes. Through the use of a
combination of heart rate monitoring and systematic observation the
amount of time spent in low, moderate and vigorous levels of intensity
were recorded. These results will be compared with existing
recommendations.
