In a collaborative effort, the Ontario FASD Stakeholders Intervention
Committee, Timiskaming Brighter Futures; a program of Timiskaming Child
and Family Services; with funding from the Public Health Agency of
Canada would like to present an opportunity for families affected by
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder to have an "FASD Camp Experience 2006".
As an agency/organization that provides services to children and their
families we are depending on you to provide the families, affected by
FASD in your community with the opportunity to benefit from such an
adventure, by ensuring that they receive the enclosed application and
agenda. Diagnosis does not have to be confirmed for families to attend.
Transportation subsidy will be considered on individual basis, funding
permitting. Spaces are limited and the committee will make every
attempt to ensure there are families attending that will represent all
regions of the province.
For more information, please contact Pat Spadetto or Darlene Grossinger
at (705) 567-5926. Please assist a family in your community by ensuring
their application is received by the February 10 deadline.
