Bilingual Services from Ontario Prevention Clearinghouse

The Health Promotion Resource Centre of the Ontario
Prevention Clearinghouse (OPC) works with you - individuals, groups, and
communities - to encourage and strengthen your work in health promotion. We
help you develop and implement health promotion initiatives, whether you're
working with broad populations or vulnerable groups.

We provide the following services across Ontario
in both French and English. Most of our services are offered free of charge:
consultation; education and learning events; networking, supports and
referrals; and resources and information

Our experienced staff helps you assess your situation,
assets and capacities, needs and priorities, and tailors responses to suit your
needs. This enables you to strengthen your vision about health promotion, think
through and assess issues. Working together, we assist you to build on what is
working well, develop better practices and implement strategic solutions.

Are you working in a community health centre, a staff person
in a public health unit, a health planner in a district who needs assistance in
undertaking health promotion initiatives? Are you an NGO that wants a training
session on how to partner successfully, a group that wants to start a listserv?
Are you an individual who wants to mobilize your community around a specific
health issue, an organization that needs help in developing a vision?  Are you looking for resources and information
on a specific topic, or do you need to get in touch with others in your field
of endeavour?

If so, contact the Ontario Prevention Clearinghouse, and we
will be happy to work with you. Our services are provided in person, on-site,
by telephone and by e-mail. Choose the one that's best for you and get in touch
with us.  Visit http://www.opc.on.ca to
