Mapping Stages of Child Growth and Development in the Early Years (ages 0-6) to Pediatric Injury

10:00 a.m. EST

SMARTRISK Learning Series session

This advanced session will provide participants with recent
epidemiological data that describes patterns of injury in preschoolers
and relates these injury patterns to normal stages of growth and
development. These data were collected in Ontario as part of a
population-based emergency department surveillance program. The study
findings have a number of important implications for prevention. This
session, presented by Dr. William Pickett of Queen's University will
focus on how this approach can enhance early years initiatives
throughout the province.

To register for this session, please send an email to learning@smartrisk.ca or call us at (416) 977-7350.
