City of Hamilton is recruiting for a temporary Emergency Response Plan project manager.
You will work closely with internal clients to recommend / implement
improvements for emergency response activities of the Department,
including Ontario Works, Community Programs, CityHousing Hamilton,
Recreation, and two long-term care homes. You will work
collaboratively with internal client groups to gather and document
existing practices, highlight gaps and devise improvements to plans
that will be used to delivery social services in response to a natural
or manmade emergency, and collaborate with Emergency Response planners
in related City Departments including Public Health and Emergency
Services (fire and ambulance) and Police Services.
One temporary position is currently being recruited for a six-twelve
month assignment. Opportunity to extend the position longer may
develop within the timeframe of the temporary position.
Salary range is $29.718-$37.147 per hour, 35 hours per week
