Research Assistant--Statistical Analysis, Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto

Position: Full time for 2 months, starting as soon as possible

Working under the direction of the Project Coordinator, the incumbent
will complete data analysis for a Medication Management service
research study delivered to seniors in a supportive housing program
located in the Region of Peel.

Responsibilities

  • Coding and entering data in Excel and SPSS software
  • Managing databases
  • Performing statistical analysis
  • Preparing statistical tables for and/or writing reports
  • Administrative duties pertaining to the research, such as,
    ensuring study records are maintained, securely stored, and backed up
    appropriately
  • Assisting project coordinator as needed

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree with coursework in statistics and research
    methods or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Education or experience in health care is an asset.
  • Proficiency with SPSS and Excel software
  • Demonstrated ability to perform statistical analysis
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and writing skills
  • Sound judgment; proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to work within and adjust to shifting timelines and priorities

Salary: Commensurate with experience
