You will be challenged to promote, integrate, and continuously develop
the knowledge mobilization program of the Ontario Neurotrauma
Foundation (ONF) with a keen focus on putting research into action. ONF
is an applied research organization with a mandate in injury
prevention, quality of life of people with spinal cord injury and
acquired brain injury. The measure of our success is in our ability to
create impact from the knowledge we have created.
Supported by an expert committee of leading thinkers in KM and an
outstanding neurotrauma research community, you will lead the ongoing
planning, development, design, implementation and review of knowledge
mobilization activities, projects and products to implement the Board's
mandate in knowledge mobilization. You will create linkages for
information sharing among various audiences such as consumers, policy
makers, clinicians, program administrators and researchers.
You will oversee the process of scanning KM-related activities and
partnership opportunities, monitor, evaluate and report on the
methodological and technological trends for the capture, transfer and
interpretation of research outcomes in the field of neurotrauma and
health services policy.
You will have demonstrated experience in methods, procedures,
technique, practices and processes involved in collecting, organizing
and presenting results of research; a demonstrated awareness of the KM
field; a demonstrated understanding of health sciences research and its
impact on policy, service delivery and clinical practice; and an
ability to identify potential networks that will further the objectives
of the KM program.
