Program Coordinator, NEDIC

Hours: 28 Hours per Week; 4 Days/week; Will Require Occasional Evening or
Weekend Work: 5-6 Times/Annum
Status: Ppt (Permanent Part-time)

The National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC) is a national
non-profit health promotion organization providing information and
referrals on a wide range of food and weight issues to individuals,
family members and professionals.

The Program Coordinator will assume responsibility for performing
program administration responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation
of the Centre's programs and projects. Specific responsibilities
include: coordinate day-to-day operations of the Centre; coordinate the
volunteer and student placement program; oversee administrative staff,
volunteers and placement students; liaise with community, media and
professionals to promote NEDIC's services; coordinate the collection of
statistics and assist with the preparation of reports and proposals;
assist with the conception, development and execution of new programs
and projects; plan and coordinate dissemination of educational
resources; proactively increase the presence and awareness of the
issues and organization; coordinate and maintain website and databases
and provide ongoing development of a comprehensive online communication
strategy; track and highlight relevant and timely news items;
