within an intra-disciplinary health care model.
Anishnawbe Health Toronto (AHT), an accredited community health centre,
seeks an experienced individual to coordinate its Human Resource
systems. Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the Human
Resources Coordinator will ensure that the organization's HR policies,
procedures and functions reflect the Mission, Vision, Beliefs and
Principles of AHT including compliance with pertinent legislation.
Duties and responsibilities include participation in staff recruitment,
retention, orientation, training, appreciation and performance.
Working with the management team, the HR Coordinator will establish and
manage the HR records, files and data base system; monitor, evaluate
and advise as to trends related to absences, leaves, conflict
resolution processes, including health and safety occurrences. As
HR Coordinator you will assist and support managers in developing,
implementing, scheduling and monitoring of all peer review processes
including chart audits. You will administer employee contracts,
placements, salary grids and benefits plan.
As the preferred candidate you will have 3 years experience in human
resources management, related education or training, knowledge and
understanding of Aboriginal health issues and health or social service
sectors. You are knowledgeable and experienced with Microsoft
Office, Excel and Access Data Base systems and have good written and
oral communication skills.
