ACHI Call for Conference Proposals

The Association for Community Health Improvement is now accepting
Breakout Session proposals for our March 7-9, 2007, Spring Training for
Health Champions conference.

The proposal submission period runs for more than seven weeks, closing
September 1st. All submissions are invited via a new online system that
permits you to edit your proposal after submission, any time until
September 1st. You are welcome to submit more than one proposal. Spring
Training for Health Champions will feature 30 breakout sessions in four
topic tracks:

  • Maximizing Access to Care
  • Innovating for Community-based Chronic Disease Prevention
  • Achieving Community Benefit Excellence
  • Leading Community Health Assessments with Impact

To read more about the tracks and the conference, and to submit a
proposal, visit
http://www.communityhlth.org/communityhlth/conference/annual07.html.

We are expecting more than 450 people from hospitals and health
systems, public health departments, community health centers, healthy
communities and access-to-care coalitions, and health foundations. In
fact, one of the continuing strengths of this conference is the
cross-pollination it fosters through sectors among people who share the
same goals. Please consider sharing your work, experiences, tools and
successes at ACHI's national conference.
