As a leading organization in cancer prevention, Cancer Care Ontario is leading the Program Training and Consultation Centre (PTCC) in its next phase of development. PTCC is a consortium of resource centres funded by the Smoke-Free Ontario (SFO) Strategy. PTCC's mandate is to provide training and technical assistance to enhance the capacity of organizations in Ontario to implement effective strategies in support of the SFO goals. PTCC serves all Ontario health units, local interagency councils on smoking and health, community health centres, non-governmental agencies and the Ministry of Health Promotion.
The successful applicant will ensure strategic decision-making, strong programming and positive outcomes.
- Completion of a graduate degree program in education, health promotion, community/public health programming, health administration required
- Experience in program management required
- Experience in tobacco control an asset
