This program is designed for community-based agencies providing
employment, training or women's services in their communities.
Organizations who want to explore the feasibility of a social
enterprise will take part in a series of workshops, problem-solving
clinics and one-to-one technical and business coaching.
Participants will generate business feasibility plans for enterprises
that train or employ people with barriers to employment.
Sponsored by A Commitment to Training and Employment for Women (ACTEW)
with seed money from the Community Economic Development Technical
Assistance Program (CEDTAP), the program will support five to seven
organizations. The series begins with an introductory workshop on
October 10. Applications are due October 2.
