One year maternity leave contract

manager, special projects contract opportunity within the Centre for
Behavioural Research and Program Evaluation located at the University
of Waterloo.

Master's degree in health, social or behavioural sciences or equivalent
education and experience. Three to five years demonstrated experience
in program evaluation including design, implementation using a variety
of methodologies, data management, and analysis and reporting. Proven
capacity for critical and analytical thinking. Strong verbal and
written communication skills including the ability to effectively
communicate research, evaluation, findings and implications to a varied
audience. Superior organizational, time management and planning skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of evaluation design, qualitative and quantitative
methodologies, and analytic methods. Ability to work in a team
environment with multi-disciplinary components as well as to work
independently. Sound problem solving and judgment skills. Solid
computing skills including word processing, database management and
statistical software. Experience with cancer prevention, tobacco
control or supportive care experience preferred. Previous supervisory
and administrative experience an asset. Ability to communicate in
French an asset.
