Two Teleconferences to Support New Online, Self-Directed Proposal Development Course

A partnership between the Ontario Healthy Communities Coalition (OHCC) and The Health Communication Unit (THCU)

Part I: November 23, 1:00-2:30 p.m.
Part II: December 7, 1:00-2:30 p.m.

THCU and OHCC are jointly offering two teleconferences with
web-based support to help people who are working through the new
Online, Self-Directed Proposal Development Course at http://thcu.ca/ohcc-thcu-proposal-writing-course/.

The purpose of this online course is to help nonprofit organizations
plan and prepare winning proposals. It has six modules, one for each
step in the proposal development process. They include

  • Developing (or Revisiting) Your Program Plan,
  • Seeking Funding,
  • Managing the Proposal Development Process,
  • Developing Your Proposal; Producing and Packaging Your Proposal, and
  • Submitting and Following-up.

The teleconferences with web-based support will include brief
presentations but will largely focus on specific questions and
challenges identified by  participants. Registrants will be polled
in advance to shape the teleconference agendas. Ideally, participants
will have a past proposal writing experience or a current proposal
underway. These will be highly participatory, problem-focused events.
Participants will be expected to have reviewed the online course prior
to participation.

Lorna Heidenheim of OHCC and Larry Hershfield  of THCU will be
facilitating these sessions. Registration is free for Ontario-focused
groups and organizations. We will be limiting enrollment to 12
participants.

To register, please visit http://www.thcu.ca/workshops/registration.htm or phone
