Two Events from Canadian Creative Arts in Health, Training and Education

Building on the success of our October 2006 day training intensive,
Integrating The Creative Arts in Healthcare, Canadian Creative Arts in
Health, Training and Education (CCAHTE)  will be  sponsoring
two training intensives for Spring 2007.

Integrating the Creative Arts in Healthcare, Drama, Collage,
Narrative/Story and Performance, Day Intensive #1 (Introductory),
Saturday,  March 24, 2007
This session is designed to introduce basic creative arts and
expressive methods which can be incorporated into the healthcare
setting. For professionals in healthcare, social workers, counsellors,
therapists, nurses and nurse educators, chaplains, professionals
working in gerontology/palliative care/cancer support (maximum of 16
participants).

"Remembering the Caregivers' Story," Day Intensive #2, Saturday, March 31, 2007
This is a day session that will focus on the story of the professional
caregiver.  Using expressive methods such as narrative, poetry and
drama, participants will be guided through a supportive and
regenerative  group process which will help professional
caregivers access and actively express their own stories. Especially
for professional caregivers, nurses, professionals in gerontology,
palliative care, chaplains, bereavement counsellors, professionals in
critical care, oncology, social workers, and educators (maximum of 16
participants).

Register early; pre-registration is currently underway.
Fee $100 (plus lunch) for day intensive before February 1,  $120 after February 1.
