Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this is a senior management
position that provides leadership, strategic input, direction and
coordination for the organization, including managing a small
professional staff team and related volunteer committees.  The
range of responsibilities requires a solid understanding of the parks
and recreation sector, corporate sponsorship, marketing, event
management and the voluntary sector.  
General Responsibilities

Manage CPRA's marketing and revenue generation initiatives; lead the
annual National Parks and Recreation Conference and Trade Show; and
oversee the Association's professional development programs, including
the Canadian Playground Safety Institute.  
     

Education/Experience Requirements

Relevant College or University education, with a minimum of five years
experience in corporate development, sponsorship and marketing.
Bilingual candidates will receive first consideration.

The base salary for this position is $53,000. Deadline for applications is 12:00 Noon EST, November 30, 2006.
