Community Mental Health Analyst, Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario

The Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario is a charitable
organization with a focus on mental health and mental illness. CMHA,
Ontario's mission is to promote the mental health of all individual and
communities throughout Ontario.

We are seeking an experienced individual with in-depth knowledge of
mental health issues in Ontario.  You will scan and review data
and information, monitor trends and identify emerging public issues
relevant to the broad mental health field. You will develop briefs,
position papers, reports and submissions individually, and in
collaboration with others.  In addition, you may participate in
external provincial committees and work groups that support the public
issue priorities of CMHA, Ontario. You will also prepare articles for
our prominent communication vehicles, including the website,
e-bulletins and magazine.

The successful candidate will have proven work experience in the health
care or social services sector, and possess a university
graduate/college diploma or related work experience. Exceptional
writing and communication skills, ability to read and synthesize
complex material, research experience, meet established deadlines,
respond quickly to requests and manage multiple tasks, and a desire and
ability to work effectively within a team environment are required.
Sound working knowledge of MS Office software applications is also
required.
