The Centre for International Public Health Policy, led by Professor
Allyson Pollock, carries out research into the growing importance of
markets and non-state actors in national and international contemporary
public health policy. From September 2007 it will be running a suite of
three new MSc programmes:
- MSc global health and public health policy
- MSc health inequalities and public policy
- MSc health systems and public policy
These programmes will be of interest to policy makers,
researchers, doctors, and health professionals. They will equip them
with the skills and knowledge to evaluate and analyse the challenges
confronting public health and health services today.
The programmes take one year full time and up to three years part time. Possibilities exist for distance and modular learning.
