manager, special projects opportunity within the Centre for Behavioural
Research and Program Evaluation located at the University of Waterloo.

  • Master's degree in health, social or behavioural sciences or equivalent education and experience
  • Three to five years demonstrated experience in program evaluation
    including design, implementation using a variety of methodologies, data
    management, and analysis and reporting
  • Proven capacity for critical and analytical thinking
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the
    ability to effectively communicate research, evaluation, findings and
    implications to a varied audience
  • Superior organizational, time management and planning skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of evaluation design, qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and analytic methods
  • Ability to work in a team environment with multi-disciplinary components as well as to work independently
  • Sound problem solving and judgment skills
  • Solid computing skills including word processing, database management and statistical software
  • Experience with cancer prevention, tobacco control or supportive care experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory and administrative experience an asset
  • Ability to communicate in French an asset
