Description: The chronic disease prevention and health promotion branch
seeks highly motivated individuals to promote the goals of the
smoke-free Ontario and healthy eating and active living strategies. In
this role, you will: develop a range of programs relating to youth
development; provide expertise on regional/local program planning and
multi-year operational planning; develop stakeholder partnerships;
manage related accountability agreements.

Qualifications: demonstrated knowledge of tobacco-control program
planning, design, development principles, and methods/techniques for
developing large health promotion initiatives in the area of youth
development; understanding of public health/health promotion
principles, methods, practices, the science of tobacco control, related
evidence-based practices, and stakeholders needs; strong business,
marketing skills; excellent research, analysis, stakeholder-management,
communication skills; computer proficiency; proven
relationship-building skills.
