Salary: $71,078.00-$83,935.00 / annually

Description: Bring your nutrition and public health expertise to the
Ministry of Health Promotion, chronic disease prevention and health
promotion branch, to: provide leadership and public health expertise
for the development, implementation, evaluation of population health
policies/programs that promote nutritional well-being in Ontarians;
provide options/advice on successfully implementing the healthy weights
strategy; coordinate/participate on project teams; liaise with
professional associations and federal/provincial counterparts. This is
a one-year contract, with possible extension.

Qualifications: registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario;
master's degree from a recognized university with a major in
community/public health nutrition or equivalent; knowledge of public
health nutrition, critical issues faced by stakeholders; understanding
of health promotion principles, methods, practices; proven program
design, policy development/evaluation, stakeholder
management/partnership, project management skills; excellent
analytical/conceptual thinking, communication skills.
