Annually, the Master of Biotechnology program at U of T organizes and hosts a symposium. This year, we have chosen to focus on the role of biotechnology in reversing the spread of infectious diseases. Global health is concern for everyone and with increasing numbers of patients with diseases such as HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis, the need for strong initiatives is more important then ever. The biotechnology and global health symposium will feature: Dr. Peter Singer, Dr. Kelly MacDonald, Ms. Patricia de Los Rios and Dr.Anne-Marie Zajdlik. Please register and find out more information at http://www.mbiotechsymposium.com.
