Growing up Healthy & Green

Seneca College is hosting this important provincial conference about Early Childhood Education at our new Markham Campus. This event, Growing up Healthy & Green, will open a crucial dialogue about improving the environment where our children grow and learn. We are writing to request your attendance and participation at this importance conference.

Growing up Healthy & Green is the first conference of its kind in Ontario. It will provide a forum for environmental health experts, policy makers, teachers and childcare workers to examine the effects environmental factors have on children's health and development. Keynote speakers will include the Honourable Margaret McCain, former Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick, Dr. Lynn Marshall, Co-Chair, Environmental Health Committee of the Ontario College of Family Physicians and Wendy Mesley, Co-Host of CBC News: Marketplace.
