2009-622

A few people have written to tell us that their email programs do not allow them to click OHPE's links. Starting with this issue, we'll always include the issue's online address here in the introduction section. Those who need to copy and paste URLs to their web browsers will then only need to copy this one URL.

In this week's issue -- the first after our holiday weekend break and one chock full of job postings! -- we have a feature article by Irene Boldt, "Exploring the Utility of Self-Help Groups: Does Self-Help Group Membership Enhance Mental Health?" In her introduction she writes that her article's purpose is to "demonstrate to healthcare professionals (HCP) that self-help groups have the potential to positively influence the mental health of their members."

We welcome your feedback on our feature articles-including topics you'd like to see--news about old colleagues and new colleagues, and comments on our newsletter and searchable database of health promotion information. Read our complete submission guidelines at http://www.ohpe.ca and write to editor@ohpe.ca.
