Mad Pride is an arts, culture, and heritage festival created by psychiatric survivors, consumers, mad people, folks the world has labelled “mentally ill”, and those in solidarity with us.

Mad Pride is about:

•             remembering and participating in mad history

•             challenging discrimination

•             advocating for rights

•             affirming mad identities

•             developing and empowering mad communities

Road to Health: Improving Walking and Cycling in Toronto

Sections: 

Toronto Public Health has released a new report entitled Road to Health: Improving Walking and Cycling in Toronto that summarizes the research on the health benefits and the risk associated with walking and cycling and provides an economic assessment.  This report synthesizes the evidence and provides specific strategies to increase the use and safety of active transportation in Toronto
